Plants saved my life, as did words.
Without the spirit of plants and the words to make sense of my world, I would have gone mad and that would have been the end of me. But I didn’t and so now I write about plants and my experiences in this world.
Though I have a Masters degree, I get impatient with academically detailed and overly footnoted research, which certainly informs the kind of writing I do.
Much of it is personal. And much of it is in short spurts.
For 3 years I wrote, edited, and published a newsletter for survivors of abuse, called Roots of Healing.
Now I put out an occasional newsletter, called Budding News.
These are included here, along with a collection of what else I have written.
I hope you enjoy my words and find something of value in what you read.
